Elizabeth Lanham

Elizabeth Lanham was born and raised in New England where she happily worked for 12 years as a nurse in a community hospital. Things took a turn in 2015 when she found herself quitting her job, renting out her house and finding temporary care for her two dogs. She then embarked on a year-long mission to Guatemala where she worked in an orphanage, learned Spanish and began to take risks.  In between cleaning scratched knees, hiking volcanoes, and learning to love frijoles, she discovered a new love in writing. Though her year in Central America has ended, Elizabeth returns home with the firm conviction that a new adventure is just beginning.
