Emma Pivato

Emma Pivato is a retired academic and psychologist and the author of the Claire Burke mystery series.  They feature a variety of interesting characters including a number of individuals with disabilities.    By keeping the action fast,  the plot twists intriguing, and by anointing her stories with the odd sprinkling of humor,  her hope is that they will make a satisfying read for anyone who enjoys mystery stories.   Emma lives in Edmonton, Alberta, with her husband, Joe, and her adult daughter, Alexis, who has multiple disabilities.
