So Many Ways to Enjoy Spring

There have been multiple days of sun in a row already this week and it has been delightful! Looking at the weather in the coming weeks it seems that the sun will be sticking around, at least for me in California. I am so thankful that the weather is finally warming up and I have a brief list of what I want to do now that the weather has changed.

Get outside!

To start with, it’s good to just get out and enjoy the day! I know that my boyfriend and I especially love going on hikes and are hiking as many nearby trails as we possibly can this Spring and Summer. Packing a lunch and finding a nice sunny rock to spread the picnic out on is just an added bonus when it comes to taking a long hike.

Get out there and read!

Option number 2 of course has to do with reading outside! Read near an open window, read at the park or out in your own backyard. Spring is a time that always makes me want to read outside, especially focusing on some light and fun books whether they be cozy mysteries or some comedic fiction. Summer isn’t the only time for “beach reads” y’know.

Take a mini or big vacation!

With the end of school quickly approaching, (at least for me and any other students in the United States) it is time to start thinking ahead and planning a vacation. Around this time of year I can think of planning many a camping trip or booking a stay in a nearby town I’ve never been to. I like Spring as a time to get out and do some exploring and more local sight seeing. Summer for me is when the big vacations can potentially be planned.

Spending time with friend and family

I have had many changes in my family recently, both good and bad, and I want to be able to spend time with them as much as possible. With Spring being so tied to renewal and growth, it definitely helps me to cherish the time I take to spend with friends and family. Nothing better to do than combine some of the above activities and do with with your best friends and family members!

Visit a new restaurant or go wine tasting

For me, living in wine country, there are wineries just about anywhere, and it is yet another activity I enjoy doing with friends and family from time to time. If you’re not much of a wine drinker, or don’t have many wineries near you, you can always just find a new restaurant, a new food truck, etc.! Spring time is all about exploring and trying new things, especially new food and drink!

Hopefully, this was fun to scroll through, and it at least gave you a few ideas on what to do with that nice weather out there. Happy adventuring!
