And there’s no better detective duo than spouses—pairs that are already used to thriving together. What happens when married couples team up? Wrong-doers beware! Since they share a passion for crime theory, the two are able to collaborate on hunches and leads. Adam and Eve Iverson—the central figures of Rita Strombeck’s Sunshine Valley Mysteries—also utilize cooperation in their crime solving. Because they conduct simultaneous investigations, the duo must communicate in order to make sure they both know all the facts. In a similar vein, Ed and Annie DeCleryk—featured in the Edmund DeCleryk Mysteries by Karen Snughart—complement one another. On the clock and off, the pair supports each other and their respective interests. Annie is a whiz in the kitchen who uses her talents to woo everyone she meets.
